Just a friendly reminder from the staff here at GenXDirect.com that Spring is nearly upon us! I know it's hard to believe for all you folks out East with the dump trucks full of snow you've been blessed with this winter, believe it or not we are days, not months away from the start of Spring melt. That means for those of you who don't ice-fish, or otherwise use your generators during winter, now would be a great time to get your portable Honda, Ryobi, Yamaha, Generac, or Kipor generator ready for action!
To help some of you Honda Eu2000iS owners out there, we have included a video below courtesy of Honda.
For those of you who own a different brand, just hop on over to Youtube.com and odds are you'll find a quick tutorial to get your machine game ready!
Remember that your BERG extended run fuel system from GenXDirect.com should need very little maintenance. Check your fittings, replace your rubber cap gasket (click here if you need to order a few more), and make sure you have good fuel in your remote tank. One more thing to check for is that you didn't damage your hose during storage (I have been known to step on mine with hockey skates and or catch it on the snow blower). If your hose looks a little suspect, no worries, click here to snap up one of IPI Industries replacement hoses for the BERG products.
If you are looking for a little more power this year vs. last, paralleling your portable generator can be a great idea to get your desired results. Below is a video from The Home Depot showcasing the abilities of the Ryobi RYi2200 including a parallel ability. If you choose to parallel your Ryobi, Honda, Yamaha, or other generator, be sure to grab a BERG II Dual system, or a Single to Dual Conversion kit if you already have a BERG I.
We hope you are as excited for spring as we are! Camping, fishing, the lake cottage, you name it, we are ready to rip! Be safe, have fun, and be sure to share your photos and videos of BERG products in action with us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram!
